Masterclass on CRC - a multidisciplinary online and face-to-face learning experience, with online phase from October 25 to November 22, 2022, and than Face-to-face course November 24 - 25, 2022 in Vienna, Austria

Learning objectives
- To understand the basics of CRC: Pathogenesis and pathology 
- To acquire up to date knowledge on management of polyps and early CRC: 
- Screening strategies according to risk stratification 
- Endoscopic detection, characterisation and reporting 
- Therapeutic management of early CRC: From endoscopy to surgery 
- To create a multidisciplinary mindset on CRC  
- Staging  
- Surgical management of the primary tumour 
- Surgery/Ablation for colorectal liver metastases 
- Neoadjuvant and adjuvant therapies  
- Surveillance after surgery 
- To understand how to manage patients with advanced CRC, including palliation and special groups 
- Chemotherapy in metastatic CRC 
- Other aspects of palliation: Pain management, nutrition, etc. 
- Management of recurrence of colorectal cancer 
- Management of frail and elderly patients 

Target audience
- Clinicians (gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, radiotherapists, endoscopists, paediatricians, GPs, oncologists) currently specialising a/o already experienced in the field of CRC 
- Individuals with specific interest in GI oncology after finishing their training/fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology
